We must have contacted every concrete company in the
phonebook including several in the Columbus and
Cincinnati areas for a 80ft X 50ft foundation slab with
walls. We received bids fluctuating over $10,000. Most
of the companies took weeks to get back to us or were
late for appointments and generally unprofessional. I
also received many opinions as to what preparation work
needed to be done. Frustrated, I started researching the
process and placement of concrete figuring I would try
to do it myself. Until I decided to try one more
company. I called GBR and was very impressed with
the professionalism and the fact that everything I
researched was what they were telling me needed to be
done for a proper job. The arrived on time for the
appointment and surveyed the area. My first impression
was "there is no way they will bid with in my budget"
Usually professional high-class companies like this
generally have much higher prices. The next day I
got a price and they were one of the lowest quotes
received. The contract was very specific on what they
were going to do and within a week they started. I
expected the installers to be a little less "polished"
and professional as the salesmen, but again I was wrong.
They were VERY attentive to my concerns, on time
everyday, polite and kept the jobsite very clean and
organized. Bottom line is, there is no other concrete
company in the Miami Valley I would ever consider
recommending.. GBR Concrete will have my reference
and recommendations forever.

GBR
replaced my driveway September 2008. They did excellent
work and did
it quicker than I expected. Their crew was very
organized and well lead.
They brought and used the proper and needed equipment to
do the job. The
end result was a very nice driveway.
